The atmosphere was charged with the presence of the Lord. Pastor Orkorley and his church had been in prayer and fasting for the meetings for several days. The simple platform standing in the midst of a wide space on a dirt road was lit up with a few small spot light. There was no seating for the people. All around the platform in this small opening people were standing and listening to the Word. I was directed by the Lord to preach a simple message on the power of the blood of the cross. When the time for ministry came and the invitation was given the people started to step out of the crowd and come. 15 in all came in faith and responded to the gospel. I was amazed and humbled as always that God is so willing to meet where people are. In this simple out of the way setting the King of kings reconciled 15 rebellious men and women to the God of all heaven and earth. By the power of the blood of His cross He welcome and transformed these people into sons and heirs and joint heirs with Himself. He gave these people new life and a new beginning. What a Savior is our Lord. May He always be praised and glorified. After the meeting we traveled to the airport to retrieve my luggage. Once again it was a waiting game. Then at long last the small cart came into view that held my little treasure. With bags in hand we went away from the airport by this time it was near 1:00 a.m. The following day from 9:00 until 12:00 I conducted a pastors and leaders training seminar. That night we returned to the same location there were more people gathered; Good News attracts people. This night by the grace of God more people responded to receive forgiveness for their sins and committed their lives to follow Jesus. We also gave opportunity for people to come and receive healing for their bodies. Many more came for this ministry. God is no respecter of persons. What He has done for one he will do for all. All who believe and come to Jesus they are never turned away.
On Sunday Pastor Wood and I went to the church of Pastor Ebenezer Orkorley and conducted an ordination service and officially presented the certificate of affiliation to the Church.
After Sunday and the powerful gathering at Pastor Okorleys church what happened on Monday was equally inspiring. Pastor Prince and I held a revival meeting for Faith Covenant Chapel. This fellowship is also in its beginning stages. They began the year 2005 with a desire to see true revival come in their midst in order that they would have a greater impact to the area are located. They spent some time in prayer and fasting and decided to move into extended evening meetings. We were invited to come and launch the week of meetings for the church. Their theme for the meetings was Catch the Anointing.
When I saw the signboard that was hanging in the front of the structure the Spirit of the Lord came upon me and He wonderfully imparted a message to me for the church. When the time for ministry arrived I asked for those who had never been born again to raise their hands. More than of the people raised their hands. I thought that they misunderstood me. So I repeated the invitation with greater detail for clarity, once again the same people raised the hands this time there were even one or two more. What a wonderful demonstration of Gods grace being poured I preached on anointing and so many was born from above. We then gathered all the people together and asked them to raise their hands unto the Lord and get ready to receive an anointing from the Spirit of God. The air was charged with a sense of excitement; I raised my Shofar in preparation to blow it when shouts and cries of anticipations began to be heard. The blast of the trumpet of the Lord brought forth an awesome scene. As the people began to receive the anointing of the Spirit I gave the microphone to Pastor Prince Wood. His prophetic gift was stirred up and he began to minister and speak into the lives of many of the people. As he spoke to them they individually realized that God knew them intimately and that God truly loved and cared about them. At the close of the meeting we encouraged all present to stand together and receive a corporate anointing to achieve the purposes of God for their fellowship. Faith Covenant Chapel International is also a newly affiliated church with ELIJAH MINISTRIES.
Tuesday and Wednesday we are ministering in Power to the World Chapel, for revival meetings. The Pastor and the leaders chose for the theme of their meetings and the year, 2005 the Year of EXPLOITS. I have been in this church last year. There are making an impact in there area of Accra. The church building is located in a densely populated area. As Pastor Prince and I were driving up we could hear the sounds of their praising. There is something so very special about the Ghanaian style of Praise and Worship. Even if you have no rhythm you soon discover that your feet begin to move to the beat of the drums and melody of the singing. I preached a message on Water Walking With Jesus. The people responded. Four people came to the platform to be born again and have a new beginning in the life of Jesus Christ. Pastor Prince Wood once again joined with me and began to prophecy. In some demons began to manifest, they were soon cast out. The people were set free. Others received healing for their bodies. The Gospel is an old message but it is still GOOD NEWS.
Wednesday, this is the second night of our participation in their revival meetings with Power to the World Chapel International. The leaders and the members of the church have prepared the atmosphere well for the Holy Spirit to move in power during these meetings. As Pastor Prince Wood and I walked into the building we first noticed people were passionately praying for the meeting. As we joined them we too begin to sense that this night would be even more wonderful than the night before. More and more people began to arrive as the worship team started to minister. The place was filled with glorious praise. Pastor Prince received the microphone from the host pastor, Pastor Dominique. The Spirit was stirring up Pastor Prince as he began to speak prophetically over the meeting that was to come. To almost all present it was evident God was going to do something truly outstanding. Pastor Prince introduced me and as soon as I took the microphone from his hands I felt a fresh anointing come upon me. By Gods grace a message came forth that focused on what is necessary for the church to turn a generation away from the destruction in the world to the abounding life provided in Kingdom of God. Several people responded and came to the platform and openly confessed Jesus Christ as savior and dedicated their lives to follow Him as Lord. As it was the night before prophetic words began to be spoken of individuals. The Holy Spirit was so present people in all parts of the building were being touched by His presence. In the presence of the Holy Spirit some people fell to the floor, others began to weep, and some others began to shake, jump, and shout. The difficulty I have is trying to explain what happened and do justice to it. What was experienced must truly be experienced in order to know what a wonderful meeting it truly was. At the close of the ministry time I called for the leaders of the church to gather in the front of the congregation. As they stood with hands raised high I prophesied over their lives and anointed them with oil confirming that God was going to use them mightily to lead the congregation to bring forth a change to their area of ministry. The Holy Spirit coming upon them with power confirmed this.
Thursday and Friday the 27th and 28th we move to another community to conduct and open-air crusade. Please as you read this report pray for many to be saved, healed and set free by the loving power of the living Lord. We traveled to a place called AGEGE. We conducted an open-air crusade meeting on a dirt street. What a glorious time. Traffic slowed but still passed by on one side. Venders with their little shopping stands where conducting business. All this and the Good News being proclaimed in power. Many were saved, physical illnesses and impairments where healed, demons were cast off and people set free, right in the middle of the street.

This trip was filled there were no days off. I believe we accomplished much. By God’s grace we are impacted people for generations to come.
January 2005 : Ghana
19 January 2005 I left for Ghana West Africa. The flight across was uneventful and I arrived safe and sound late on 20 January. I was delighted because by Gods grace and a wonderful travel agent, Susan Hull of HMS travel I was seated near the front of the plane. I was the first off the plane and the first to reach immigration. I was so happy, the plane was nearly full and it can be stressful waiting in long lines to pass through immigration. I was first at the baggage claim, Wow I was on a roll! I was first in position to receive my luggage, I was so happy. I watched as bag after bag went by on the conveyor belt. I watched as passenger after passenger received their baggage and went away, slowly I became downcast, could it be that I would be last after being first? My joy began to leave me when I noticed I was standing along with a few other passengers with that same look on our faces, you know the look, fear mixed with shock with a little anger thrown in. NO LUGGAGE! Some were missing one bag, but I was missing all my clothing, laptop, camera, and material for the pastors. After the impact of my luggage not arriving it was necessary for me to go to the baggage reclaim area and fill out the paper work. All this time the host pastor Rev. Prince Wood was waiting out side not knowing what was happening. So after two hours I exited the customs area to be greeted with joy by Pastor Prince and some brothers from the church. I was informed that it would be at least the next night before the luggage might arrive. We were scheduled to begin an out door gospel crusade the next day. Since most Ghanaians are slighter build than I it was necessary for me to where the same clothing that I traveled in, prompting me to make a note to self; always carry a spare set of clothing in small bag or where something appropriate for ministry to travel in. Gospel Outreach Ministry International a church that just recently affiliated with ELIJAH MINISTRIES hosted the open-air crusade. Pastor Ebenezer Orkorley welcomed us to the platform.
