One of the most significant events was being invited to speak to a gathering of secular local political government leaders. These leaders have a direct contact with their communities and many organizations. By God’s grace those present were moved and inspired granting me the opportunity to lay hands on the president of the gathering (the equivalent of office of mayor) and pray. Due to what happened at this meeting the group unanimously agreed to continue with monthly meetings with Pastor Rudy speaking and continuing to teach on the principles of leadership in the kingdom of God. Only good can come of this!

The day before I left the Philippines a gathering of young adults from all backgrounds in Butuan City was holding their inaugural meeting of “Save this Generation”. Pastor Rudy knows the organizer and mentioned that I was available due to a cancelation of a meeting, upon hearing this I was invited to speak. The presence of the Lord was very evident; it was as if the fire of God fell on these young people. I am confident that what is ahead for this group will make a powerful impact in the city for years to come.

Mindanao Philippines

I was blessed once again to be in the Philippines hosted by Rev. Rudy Dalapu and his family. My visit was from April 29 through May 18. As always we had a full schedule. I travel to the Philippines in the month of May because the weather is usually dry. The absence of rain is necessary for the open air meetings we conduct in many of the villages. However for whatever reason we experienced much rain, causing us to cancel many of these meetings. The meetings we were able to hold, the presence of the Lord was evident with accompanying signs, wonders and miracles attesting to the truth of the gospel of the kingdom being preached. My disappointment was set aside when the hand of the Lord became very apparent. In place of the scheduled open air meetings we were invited to speak at different events. It was my honor to speak to the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International meetings on two occasions. Two churches in the Christian Revival Church organization that were celebrating their annual anniversaries invited me to be their keynote speaker expanding the influence of ELIJAH MINISTRIES. In reference to expanding the influence of this ministry I was also privileged to speak twice at the National Convention of the Church of God Philippines. I see these opportunities as the favor of God upon us to help break down barriers that exist in the body of Christ.
